Questions

A few things to know before this week's bake.

Reservations, pickup, and cottage food notes for Blair Breadworks. If you still have a question, send us a note and we'll be glad to help.

How do reservations work?

Each week we share the loaves planned for the upcoming bake. Choose what you would like, send your reservation, and we will follow up by email with pickup details and confirmation.

What happens when this week's oven is full?

Once every loaf for the week has been reserved, this week's oven is full. We pause new reservations so every loaf already promised can be baked well. We will share the next bake soon.

What is a Bread Flight?

The Bread Flight is a baker's selection of mini loaves from the week's bake. It is designed for sharing, gifting, or finding a favorite before reserving a full loaf next time.

Where do pickups happen?

Pickup is offered in the Fort Mill area within Lancaster County, South Carolina. Exact details are shared after reservation so pickup stays simple and easy to coordinate.

Do you deliver?

Local delivery may be offered within Lancaster County, South Carolina when the weekly bake allows. Available pickup or delivery options are listed for each bake; Blair Breadworks does not currently fulfill orders across state lines.

Can I freeze sourdough?

Yes. Slice the loaf once cooled, freeze what you will not use right away, and toast slices directly from frozen. It is one of the easiest ways to keep good bread close by.

Why do you bake in limited quantities?

Every loaf deserves the same care from mixing through the final bake. Limiting each week's reservations to what the kitchen and oven can comfortably produce helps keep the bread consistent and worth sharing.

Is Blair Breadworks a licensed bakery?

Blair Breadworks operates as a home-based cottage food business in accordance with South Carolina Home-Based Food Production requirements. Our breads are prepared in a home kitchen and are not produced in a commercial kitchen that is subject to routine state inspection. Final required disclosure language should be verified against current South Carolina requirements before Opening Day.
